Brand & press
The identity behind everything Ousama makes, and the press kit, in one place.
The idea
The light is not Ousama, and the message was never his. The work is only the prism: it takes one light and bends it into forms a modern life can hold. A book, an app, a course, a series. Each is one colour of the same source.
Even the name plays along, by coincidence more than design: Ousama sits in one plain, uncoloured tone, and Alshurafa fans into the spectrum. Read it only as a small reminder that the many works trace back to a single source, and that source is Allah, never the man who signs them.
اللَّهُ نُورُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ
“Allah is the Light of the heavens and the earth.” · Surah An-Nur
The mark
Two lockups carry the brand. Both say the same thing: one light, refracted into many.
The wordmark. Ousama stays a single, uncoloured tone. Alshurafa fans into the spectrum, one hue per letter, the nine colours of the nine works.
The icon. A single O with the spectrum bar beneath it, the light and its refraction in one glyph. It works as the favicon, the app tile, and the avatar.
The spectrum
Each product owns one colour. Together they are the same message, refracted.

What you see is light itself, the spectrum that appears when the sun passes through rain. Our tradition reads that arc as one of Allah's signs, an آية in the sky, not a banner for anything else. The colours were never ours. They are His, and we only bend them back toward Him.
